The power of our feelings
"The Power of Feelings" attempts to align the knowledge from Charles Haanel's book "The Master Key System" with 21st-century science.
Ultimately, it is about comprehending the world in which we live. Why are some people on this wonderful planet rich and happy, possessing all the love in the world, while others are poor, sick, and hopeless, even though everything is available in abundance within and around us? Unfortunately, many cannot find the path to love, health, and success. Is this God-given, determined by fate, or self-inflicted?
Fate is no coincidence; it is determined by our feelings! Many difficulties arise from ignorance of ourselves and our true needs. The many unconscious feelings from the future, waiting to be discovered, are still missing!
“Consciousness” represents present feelings.
”Subconsciousness” represents the many feelings stored in the nervous system.
”Unconsciousness” represents only life-sustaining feelings.
”Non-consciousness” represents non-existent feelings.
Before we can “understand, be, or do” something, we must “feel” it.
As long as our feelings are not programmed for it, we cannot engage with something new. When we “ride a bike”, the body is activated by feelings from our subconscious. “If we have no feelings stored for riding a bike, then we cannot ride a bike either”.
The vegetative nervous system possesses the wonderful ability to make all stored feelings available for our goals.
Flower, house, sun, or reflections of the mirage are “objective and real feelings”. Mathematics, Euclidean geometry, time, and languages are merely practical tools that facilitate our coexistence.
“Thoughts do not exist; it is the feelings that are formed into sentences with words in the brain, from which new feelings arise once more!”
From the universe, we have adopted the “real subjective feelings” such as stability, security, attraction, relationship, love, confidence, and progress!
There, neither destructive feelings nor emotional poverty exist, neither inferiority nor hate nor lies, neither money nor deceit nor war. And then there are the “unreal subjective feelings” such as illusions, imaginings, and hallucinations.
All experiences, including the genes and the DNA we inherited from our parents and ancestors, are stored within us as personal feelings.
Feelings and intelligence, as biology demonstrates to us, are constantly evolving in all living beings. Real feelings become stable building blocks, and unreal feelings become crumbling sandstones.
Gazing upon the cause of every phenomenon leads us into the depths of all wisdom.
If we attentively observe what interests us, we gain valuable impressions for our future thanks to these experiences.
The great soul of a person is distinguished from the soul of an ordinary person by the “intensity of real feelings”.
They are the true source of all sciences!
JOHANN WOLFGANG VON GOETHE described in his work “Elective Affinities” how the power of feelings reaches the outside world and determines attraction and repulsion even among chemical elements.
Life is constantly determined by the forces of “attraction and radiation,” a feeling familiar to us humans; we call it “love.”
Everything possesses this force of gravitation; it is our very own life, which protects us, nourishes us, and allows us to unfold.
One sees this everywhere—in children, animals, plants, and also in certain athletes, artists, and scientists. Without attraction and repulsion, life is not possible. We can learn this from the animals. Most wait for the right partner, and the range of their feelings is dependent on their power of radiation. Accordingly, a mouse possesses less of this power than an elephant.
Intuition
For example, the quality of a tree awakens in us humans intuitions such as shade, food, house construction, furniture, artwork, or firewood.
It is not the existence of two energy-matters alone, but the possibilities of intuitions that represent the omnipresent driving force of all life.
The spark of genius requires no silence for intuitions. Intuitions emerge as real feelings from the confident subconscious. When we let go of a seemingly unsolvable problem with sufficient basic trust, the solution can suddenly rise into consciousness as a gift. This is not the inspiration of a higher power; “it is the power of faith, serenity, and confidence”!
“Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours²”.
“Faith means the confidence in real desires”!
This requires trust, a firm belief, and full attention to receiving solutions from the subconscious.
For the average person, this phenomenon meets with incomprehension; for the scientifically minded, the “precision of confidence is a sensation.”
The ultimate recipe for success is:
Desire > visualize > and act with serenity and confidence!
An example:
When we attempt to throw a ball into a basket, this action is only successful with the feelings of “belief, serenity, and confidence.” The physical law of cause and effect is also the law of feelings!
These feelings are the “cause”, the achieved goal is the “effect”!
With this, real goals become reality with incredible precision!
If we then also make ourselves independent of external appreciation and protect ourselves from both external and internal criticism, we are in the “flow”, a term from sports! With will alone, such results are rare.
The healing of any disease requires faith, serenity, and confidence.
The placebo effect is a prime example of how these feelings alone enable healing. This influence on our body is also evident in the case of a broken leg. A doctor may be able to set a fracture, but only the confidence in self-healing stored in the patient’s subconscious possesses this power. This power is also responsible for the heartbeat and all life-sustaining bodily functions.
Our cells are sensitized by our feelings as soon as they receive this information. This occurs in the same way as eating, drinking, and breathing.
Power enters the body, and waste products leave it.
“Illnesses are not a coincidence; they do not simply fall from the sky.” As we age, our bodies are increasingly influenced by our destructive emotions.
These useless inventions, along with weakened digestive organs, are the cause of most diseases!
Paralysis arises from a subconscious insecurity, Alzheimer’s from emotional poverty, and Parkinson’s from subconscious fears such as those of illness and death. Heart problems are the result of a lack of affection toward fellow human beings, and diabetics have great difficulty feeling love and affection. And hemophiliacs fundamentally have too little confidence stored in their subconscious. Many pensioners are marked by a sense of hopelessness and beginning depression.
If the reservoir of confidence in the subconscious empties, healing is no longer possible. Once these feelings have left the patient, they lose their love, their emotions (soul), their charisma, and ultimately their life. After death, all energy-matter slowly decays into “dark energy-matter particles,” which are absorbed by the Earth and eventually made available to a new life.
“The subject dies, but not life! This becoming and passing away is the continuum of the universe, an eternal breathing from Big Bang to Big Bang!”
“Ultimately, it is about feeling confident, worthy, and unique. These feelings are always successful, self-determined, and complete.”
“We are what we feel."
"What I feared has come upon me³”!
In this regard, two destructive and two constructive emotions!
“Fears and worries” are hopeless; they only paint a grim picture on the wall.
And the fear of illness attracts illness. “Mindfulness and confidence are constructive”; they bring “calmness, health, security, and success”.
“However, destructive feelings cannot simply be thrown into the sea.”
To be able to change undesirable life circumstances, one should set aside all selfish needs. Selfish people are incapable of this. “They can only consume love, harmony, and property”.
We can only eliminate a lack of self-confidence and destructive feelings such as inferiority, fear, and hopelessness “if we concentrate on our important needs and goals with serenity, confidence, and love”! These feelings possess the highest frequency; they represent wisdom, power, and prosperity, and eliminate every form of error.
“The subconscious never sleeps”! “Feelings of confidence always have control over our bodies and our fundamental attitude”!
From now on, we should become aware that we truly live in a wonderful world and that each of us is very valuable.¹
We become a lighthouse of joy for life, and we will succeed in encountering all people with love.
They sense that no eye has seen and no ear has heard, and no human heart has conceived, what awaits those who dare the departure for the “promised land.” They have crossed the “River of Judgment” and have reached the point where they can distinguish “between right and wrong.” And they have realized that everything they had ever dreamed of was only a faint reflection of what reality now holds in store for them.⁴
Ps.:
The “departure for the promised land” refers to the “land of confidence, where new ways of life emerge, free from prejudice.”
“They have crossed the river of judgment” means: They left traditional opinions and all destructive feelings behind “in order to be able to judge between right and wrong.”
And Einstein’s words: “I do not know whether infinity exists, but I do know that human stupidity is infinite” can also mean:
“Out of convenience, most people are not prepared to leave their well-trodden paths!”
